These Terms govern your use of the BLEACH website, its editorial content, search, forms, newsletter and shopping or affiliate links. They do not govern products, purchases or services supplied by external retailers or platforms.
Please read these Terms together with the Imprint and Privacy policy. Mandatory rights granted by applicable law are not restricted by these Terms.

BLEACH is an independent editorial publication covering fashion, music, film and television, life and culture, body and care, sports, art and photography, and shopping. Content is provided for general information, cultural commentary and entertainment.
BLEACH aims to publish carefully researched and clearly presented work, but does not promise that every item will always be complete, error-free or current. Views expressed in interviews, guest contributions or quoted material may belong to the relevant author or speaker. Nothing on the website is legal, medical, financial or other professional advice.
Permitted use
You may access and use the website for lawful personal and non-commercial purposes. You may share links to BLEACH pages and use brief quotations where permitted by law, provided that the source is clearly credited and the quotation is not misleading.

Automated access and data mining
Except where mandatory law permits otherwise, you may not use bots, scrapers, crawlers or similar automated systems to bulk-download, reproduce, monitor, extract, republish or commercially exploit BLEACH content; bypass access or security measures; overload the website; or use its content to train or improve a commercial artificial-intelligence system without prior written permission. By submitting material, you grant BLEACH a limited, non-exclusive and royalty-free licence to receive, store, internally reproduce and review it for the purpose of evaluating the submission and contacting you. BLEACH does not obtain a right to publish, advertise or commercially exploit the material unless that right is agreed separately in writing. Unsolicited material may not be returned and should not be treated as confidential unless BLEACH has expressly agreed otherwise.
Prohibited conduct

Newsletter

Subscription and related personal-data processing are described in the Privacy policy. BLEACH may change the newsletter's frequency or format, pause it or discontinue it. Subscribing does not create a right to receive any particular issue or type of content.
Shopping and affiliate links
Some shopping links are affiliate links. If you follow a link or complete a purchase, BLEACH may receive a commission from the retailer or affiliate network. Commercial relationships will be identified where required. The retailer's checkout controls the final price and conditions.
BLEACH is not the seller, payment provider, delivery company or contracting party for external purchases. Product availability, descriptions, prices, warranties, delivery, returns and refunds are governed by the retailer's terms. Questions about an order must be directed to that retailer. Editorial recommendations remain subject to BLEACH's independent editorial judgement.
Third-party links and services

A link does not by itself mean that BLEACH controls, endorses or is affiliated with the provider. Availability, changes and access
BLEACH may update, correct, move or remove content and may change, suspend or discontinue features. Continuous, uninterrupted or error-free access is not guaranteed. Maintenance, hosting incidents, security events and circumstances outside BLEACH's reasonable control may affect availability.
These Terms may be revised when the website, services or law changes. The current version and update date will be published on this page. Material changes apply from publication or a later stated date and will not operate retroactively where additional notice or consent is legally required.
Liability
BLEACH is liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence; for injury to life, body or health; under the German Product Liability Act; and where BLEACH has expressly given a guarantee.
For slight negligence, BLEACH is liable only for breach of an essential contractual obligation whose performance makes proper use of the service possible and on which a user may normally rely. In that case, liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for the relevant relationship. Liability for slight negligence is otherwise excluded to the extent permitted by law.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts mandatory statutory liability. External retailers and platforms remain responsible for their own products, contracts and services.
Governing law and consumer rights
German law applies, excluding the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you use the website as a consumer, this choice of law does not deprive you of mandatory protections that apply in the country of your habitual residence.
The courts determined by applicable procedural law have jurisdiction. These Terms do not impose an exclusive German venue on consumers. Any permitted jurisdiction agreement with a merchant, legal person under public law or special public-law fund remains unaffected.
General and contact
If a provision of these Terms is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply. The invalid provision is replaced only by the statutory rule; this clause does not preserve or rewrite an otherwise impermissibly broad term. A delay in exercising a right is not a waiver of that right.
